Te das cuenta
lo que es la liviandad
después de haber sentido
tanto peso sobre tu espalda.

Tu garganta tuvo piedras
largo tiempo.
Todavía las tiene.
Por eso no pudiste cantar.

Ahora sentís mejor
el aire que pasa.

Ahora cantás
desde el silencio.

From silence

You realise what lightness is

after having felt

such a load over your back.

Your throat had stones

it still has

that’s why you couldn’t sing.

Now you can feel better

the air passing through.

Now you sing

from silence.
